On this day i went to VenGmini's to watch for a Van. He advertised
with it on his home page with the description that it was idial
for building a trailer. But i was thinking that it was a shame
to convert a 1980 Van into a Trailer. When i was there and see
the Van i was thinking what a rusty Car but, that was what i
wanted. I cheap Van to rebuild it from scratch. After talking
a while we agreed with the price he wanted to have. So i decided
to buy it. |

The big day. Today i was going to get my Van in enschede.
At 6.30 in the morning we leave. I arranged a trailer for the
car and together with a friend of mini (he has a Mercedes Vito)
we leave to Enschede. VenGmini's. When we arrived there was nobody.
So i called Gerard (the founder of VenGmini's). When he arrived
we put the Van on the trailer and he overhanded me the papers
for the Van. After that we are ready for the trip back to Neerkant.

The first day to do something on the Van. First
i started to clean it up from inside. there was such a mess inside
the Van, old carpet etc. Also i take out the doors and the windows.
This was a whole evening work. And a bin full of crap.

Another day to do something on my Van. I'm going further with
the clean up and also started to unbold and unscrew many things.
Like the dashboard (??). There was kind of self made shelf made
with carpets. Also the chairs where removed. And the camble loom
for the back lights. Also the backlights where removed. |

Another day to work on my Van. That day nothing special happened.
I removed the heater and the water from the cooling system. I
also started to remove the engine. But because all bolts are
very rusty i didn't finish it. This is for the next time. |

On this day i removed the engine. This was a hell of a job
because all the bolts are very rusted and therefore they are
difficult to get lost. but at the end of the evening the engine
was besides the car. Pffffff. |

Now i will start with the last things to get the car ready
to go to the someone who wants to weld the car so there is no
rust anymore. Excuse me for the englisch but i'm not in the mood
the check all this. :) Maybe when i update my page again i will
type this in better english. See ya......... |

On the evening we transported the van from Neerkant
to Kessel. This because the Van is stripped and know it can go
to somobody wo can welt the bad pieces. Because he has lots of
bad spots. Maybe there will follow some photographs in a few
days. |
